Egypt on Tuesday released 203 prisoners who had been jailed for protest-related cases, media reports said.
President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi had pardoned the prisoners a day earlier.
The move came after the president pledged in October to amend a law on assembly and protests, evaluating the cases of youths imprisoned in politically-related crimes.
This is the second list of pardon recommendations the committee has submitted for presidential review in the past four months.
In November, al-Sisi approved the committee's recommendations to pardon 82 prisoners.
