Indian chefs cooked up a giant fried bread, also known as bhatura, in New Delhi on Thursday.
Bhatura is typically a bitesize snack, but this humongous slab of fried dough was measured at 147 centimeters in diameter. Delhi is famous for its hot, fluffy bhatura, which are sold in many of the city's restaurants and street stalls. The organizers hope the deep fried bread will be confirmed by the Limca Book of Records as the largest of its kind in the country.
