At midnight on Saturday, a Russian chef drew crowds in East China’s Zhejiang Province by cooking a classic Chinese dish -- Yuxiang shredded pork. Locals were eager to taste the dish and take photos with him.
The chef, named Dmitri, has studied in China for four years. He likes to be known as “pan man”, because of his love for food.
For several years, he wandered the world and learned cooking in countries such as Spain, Turkey and Japan.
He said he would like to open a Chinese restaurant in Russia in the future, and make more people fall in love with Chinese food in his home country.
