Victoria Beckham Records New Spice Girl Songs.... Victoria Beckham has spoken out for the first time about recording new songs for the Spice Girls.The singer, dubbed Posh, hasn't sung in the group since their split nearly ten years ago (98) - but reveals she has been recording her vocals at London's Olympic Studios, the same venue where the girl band recorded the tracks for Spice World: The Movie.
"The mic was put in front of me and I was like 'woah'. It was surreal being back in there.
"I always said I wasn't ever going to sing again and I really didn't expect to. But once I got going it was fun. "The news songs are a progression of the old Spice stuff - nothing radical and still poppy but a bit different. We are all impressed with them."
Beckham's comments come as a surprise, as it's only been recently hinted that there might be a get-together with former bandmates Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell.
CARE OR NOT - PARIS IN TROUBLE!
Apparently, Paris is "teetering on the brink."Law enforcement sources say that Hilton has been crying a lot, praying and extremely withdrawn. Hilton hasn't eaten or slept since she arrived yesterday. Sources have described her condition today as "fragile" and "despondent." One source called her "a train wreck" while another said she is "sullen and withdrawn." Her shrink, Dr. Charles Sophy, spent more than two hours with her this morning. Hilton's family can't visit today. In the medical ward, families can only visit on Sundays and Tuesdays. Hilton is receiving "appropriate medical attention." Apparently, she's being given psychotropic medication.NO Matter how hard I try I cannot feel sorry for her. She brought this all on herself. It still seems like the behavior of a spoiled child who has not gotten her way!
Hilton tells lawyers: Don't appeal sentence
Paris Hilton has not eaten or slept since arriving at the medical ward of a Los Angeles jail and is being given psychoactive drugs, celebrity Web site TMZ.com reported Saturday, citing law enforcement sources.Nevertheless, the socialite and hotel heiress said late Saturday afternoon that she had told her attorneys not to appeal the order that sent her back to jail on Friday after a day of house arrest.
"Being in jail is by far the hardest thing I have ever done," Hilton, 26, said in a written statement issued by her attorney, Richard Hutton. "During the past several days, I have had a lot of time to think and I believe that I am learning and growing from this experience."
Hilton was ordered back to jail Friday after a judge overruled a sheriff's decision to place her under house arrest for psychological problems after she had spent three days of an expected three-week term behind bars.
The 26-year-old "has been crying a lot, praying" and is "extremely withdrawn," TMZ reported.
Hilton was visited by her psychiatrist, Dr. Charles Sophy, for more than two hours Saturday morning. She was being held in a room by herself with a glass door that is guarded at all times, the report said.
Steve Whitmore, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County sheriff, declined to comment on the report. "Anything to do with her medical stuff I can't confirm or deny," he said. In her statement, Hilton thanked her fans for their good wishes and said she missed her family.
