Kelly Clarkson FIRED her Management TEAM!

With just two weeks to go before the release of her much-anticipated (and recently leaked) third album, My December, EW.com has learned that Kelly Clarkson fired her management team Monday night (June 11). A SonyBMG source confirms the split between Clarkson and The Firm's Jeff Kwatinetz, and hinted that internal bickering between SonyBMG and Clarkson about the songwriting and direction of My December likely played a role with their parting.
''He exacerbated a thermonuclear situation,'' says one source close to the situation. ''Jeff did everything he could to control Kelly and her career suffered. He should have steered her in the right direction.''
The Firm issued a statement on June 12 saying, ''Kelly Clarkson is an enormously talented artist. We are pleased to have served as her managers during her well-deserved rise to stardom and are proud of the role we played in backing her creative choices. We believed in Kelly from the day we met her and believe in her now. We have only the best wishes and hopes for her in the future.''

PARIS Hilton is supposedly at the breaking point in jail - but she'll be breaking out the champagne and partying like mad the second she's released, if her parents get their way. The celebutard's doting daddy, Rick Hilton, was recently shopping a "Get Out of Jail" bash for his little girl to the top Las Vegas clubs, including Pure, the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and the Palms.
"He was originally asking for a $50,000 cash fee to be paid, as well as accommodations and flights," said our source. "Pure and Hard Rock said 'no' flat out, but George Maloof, who owns the Palms, didn't say yes or no. He's very good pals with Paris and is the one who once hooked her up with Britney Spears." But following last week's Paris pingpong match - in which the L.A. Sheriff's Dept. sprung her from the slammer because of a "medical condition," only to have a judge order her back inside - Rick's big party-push has been put on hold. Still, insiders say they're positive an out-of-the-slammer soiree remains in the works and will be even more expensive than Rick originally had in mind. "Her cost has gone up," said our informer. Hilton rep Eliot Mintz did not return e-mails.

Opri to Birkhead -- You Done Me Wrong

Debra Opri railed on ex-client Larry Birkhead today, claiming that she got the father of Anna Nicole Smith's baby a million-dollar media deal -- but didn't get bupkis and went wild, lashing out at Larry Birkhead, claiming he has publicly smeared her and has destroyed her good name. Opri claimed she got Birk the baby and made him popular and she deserves to be paid. Opri defended her humongous legal bill, saying she earned it. Last night on FOX's "On the Record," Greta asked Birkhead who he would like to have dinner with more -- Opri or Virgie Arthur. Birkhead replied that he couldn't afford to have dinner with Opri, so Virgie won by default.

Paris Hilton's Parents Visit Her in Jail for the First Time! June 12th

Paris saw her parents through visiting-room glass today, telling them she has suffered cold and sleeplessness in jail but is just starting to get her appetite back, her mother said. "It's tough in there. It's cold," Kathy Hilton said after she and Paris's father Rick had a 30-minute visit with their daughter Tuesday. "It's just good to see her." This was the first time Hilton's parents have seen her in jail. Hilton told her mom and dad that she has finally started to eat, beginning with cereal Tuesday morning, Kathy Hilton said. "She was very happy," Kathy said. "She wants to just do her time and get on with it." In addition to losing her appetite, "She really hasn't had much sleep," said Kathy. Hilton, meanwhile, faced problems outside of jail – she has been dropped by her talent agent, "Paris is no longer a client," says Endeavor agency rep Michael Donkis, who declined to specify a reason for the move. According to a source, Hilton was dropped last Friday – the day she was ordered back to jail from home confinement. The move was announced in a company-wide email, the source says. The Beverly Hills-based agency has represented Hilton since 2005, handling her deal for The Simple Life.

Boo hoo, poor Paris the agency is not representing her, but she will come out of jail and do many many interviews (for a few of course) and perhaps write a book. Which spells lots of money for poor Paris!
