Arsenal brought an end to their three game winless run on Sunday when they beat Bournemouth 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners had drawn with Tottenham, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain in the run-in to the weekend’s Premier League encounter. but were able to prevail with the points this time around.

Bournemouth gifted Arsenal the lead just 12 minutes in when a poor pass from Steve Cook rolled to Alexis Sanchez, setting him up for an easy goal.

The lead did not last, though, as Callum Wilson pulled the visitors level after 23 minutes, converting a penalty awarded when Nacho Monreal collided with with him.

Theo Walcott had the Gunners 2-1 up just eight minutes into the second half when he nodded in a Nacho Monreal cross at the back post.

And the icing on the cake was added late on as Sanchez got his second of the game.

How To Differentiate Between Plastic Rice & Original Rice

PLASTIC RICE

There are reports that China has been producing fake rice which is mixed with plastic for exportation to other countries including Nigeria. Consumption of such is extremely harmful to the body system. These are few tips to identify plastic rice

1. The mortar and pestle test: When molding a few grains of rice with a mortar and pestle, if the powder gives a quite white colour, you are good to go but it has a yellow discoloration, your rice must be fake.

2. The fire test: You know what plastic smells like right. So, get a lighter and burn a handful of rice. If it catches fire and smells like burnt plastic, you have fake rice.

3. The water test: Get a glass of cold water. Pour a tablespoon of raw rice in the glass and stir. If the rice goes to the bottom, it is all good. If it floats at the top, be careful because it means it contains ‘plastic rice’. Do not eat.

4. The mold test: Boil the rice. Leave it in a warm place for like 2-3 days. If mold does not appear in a few days, your rice is fake and should not be consumed. It will not get mold because plastic is not affected by the weather or temperature.

5. The boiling test: Observe the rice while boiling. If it starts forming a thick layer at the top of the pot, it is ‘plastic rice’.

6. The hot oil test: Just take some of the rice drop into some real hot oil. If it is plastic, it will melt or stick together or stick at the bottom of the pan. Share these tips with your friends and family so they do not end up eating ‘plastic rice’.

Sergio Aguero was the hero of Manchester City’s 2-1 Premier League victory at Burnley on Saturday, netting a brace either side of half time to secure a comeback win for Pep Guardiola’s men.

Dean Marney had put Eddie Howe’s hosts ahead in the 14th minute, who beat Claudio Bravo with an unstoppable volley after City failed to clear their lines from a free-kick.

And the Argentine struck again in the second half as Fernandinho laid the ball on for his team-mate to bury Burnley with another strike from inside the area.

Burnley, hindered by the loss of Marney and Johann Gudmundsson to injury, were unable to avoid a third loss at a typically vociferous Turf Moor this season despite a vast improvement from Monday’s 4-0 thrashing at West Brom.
