Earlier today News broke out that the lead single “Gbagbe Oshi” off Davido’s EP “Son Of Mercy ” was bought from veteran dance hall artiste “General Pype”
This news left everyone with different thoughts as many felt it was speculations and others said it was only an attempt to cause controversy and put the singers name in a bad light before the public,
However in an attempt to give credibility to the news that was in circulation, we have been able to lay our hands on the Original verssion of the Song which was recorded by General Pype this may just go as afar as justifying the news to settle the score.
This kind of news is not new when Davido’s artistry is put in perspective. We have heard him buy songs from other artistes in the past. “Gobe” and “Aye” are some of his hit songs bought from other artistes.
