Arsene Wenger will make a late decision on Alexis Sanchez after he was dropped for Saturday’s 3-1 defeat at Liverpool
Arsene Wenger insists he has not decided whether to recall Alexis Sanchez for Arsenal’s Champions League round-of-16 second-leg meeting with Bayern Munich.
The Chile forward was dropped for Saturday’s 3-1 defeat at Liverpool with Wenger insisting it was a tactical decision and the player had not been involved in a training ground argument leading into the game.
Arsenal are 5-1 down in the tie and are definitely without Mesut Ozil through illness, while Santi Cazorla (Achilles) and Mohamed Elneny (ankle) also miss out.

Arsenal captain Per Mertesacker also spoke to the media and provided an insight on the current mood of the changing room.
“It’s a little bit tense [in the squad] but that is normal when you have a stretch like this.
“We need our fans to back us up. We’ve done some wrong in previous games. The spirit is a bit tense but that’s normal.”
