Christina Aguilera picked up two accolades at the NRJ Awards on Saturday night. According to insiders, the two awards weren't enough to make Christina happy. She was left furious when she lost out on her number-one choice of hotel suite to Gwen Stefani.Christina had her sights set on the $6,000-a-night presidential suite at the Carlton hotel on the seafront, but was forced to settle for a $4,000-a-night suite at the Martinez instead, after mum-of-one Gwen booked it first.
It was the hotel staff at the Martinez that paid for the fiery pop superstar's disappointment. A porter told Daily Mirror newspaper: "We took all her bags up to her room but we didn't even get a tip. We took flowers up as well and still, nothing."
